Moto Guzzi California EV 2006
I purchased the bike new from A1 motorcycles in Ringwood in 2006. Most riding has been on the open highway and the twisters with some across town riding. The paint and body work are still in outstanding condition with no blemishes.
Two years ago I had a little low side crash after hitting a wombat. The damage was cosmetic, and repaired under insurance by a reputable repairer.
Servicing has been carried out by the dealer until approx. 20,000 Klm and then owner serviced with oil changes every 5,000 Klm since new.
The rear shocks have been replaced with top quality and fully rebuildable Hagon Nitros, and the exhaust system has been liberated with Staintune cross over and mufflers. Sounds the way it should. At the time of exhaust update, the bike was dynotuned and good gains were made.
I have had almost 70,000 Klm of trouble free riding on this machine and I’ll never be certain selling it is the correct thing to do. However, a change is like a holiday.
The Cali has Heated grips, massive screen and hard luggage set, and is a comfortable and reliable tourer that is able to mix it with the sports tourer set if required. I have ridden many 1000 Klm days and felt fine at the end of most of them
The bike has some inherent oddities, however it’s redeeming characteristics are in how it handles and performs. Once mastered, the Cali can surprise many, and if the floor boards are rattling on the deck, you probably are getting a bit too excited anyway.
The bike comes with a workshop manual, a comprehensive service history/record and is fully up to date with servicing. The tyres are probably 2,000 Klm old and the battery is less than a year old.
It’s ready to go to a new home and be ridden and enjoyed.

I have a right side switch block for the Moto Guzzi California/Stone models. It is the beautiful brushed alloy block. Bought for my Cagiva Raptor but could not make it work as I could not source the block to connect too and I would have had to change the loom as well. It is brand new and going for $100 (half price) plus postage.

Steelisoarty has the flexibility to custom design your dream piece, our range is limitless, let your imagination come to life using metal that can be formed, folded and cut with precision and detail or you can have our design team inspire you.
For example, this fire pit:
Sump extensions to fit big-block, 2-valve, Guzzi 750, 850 and 1000 engines.
I used to make these about 30 years ago when I did a lot of Guzzi bits. Have dragged the casting pattern out and had a small run done so club members might be interested.
I am only supplying the extension, so bolts and gaskets will have to be purchased separately.
Cost is $150.00 for one extension.
